Im probably in the wrong place but this site is hard to navigate - no idea how to find a help or contact page so here it is - had my last ball from a sleeve which i had hardly hit then there were many connection issues - eventually got back into a game and my ball had gone - i was hitting a shitty plain free ball - if WGT wants me to remain here then at least allow me the use of my full sleeve and not just take them away - not impressed - thats kinda fraudulent surely ?

    Welcome to WGT!

For more information on the game we recommend reviewing our FAQ at the link here: http://www.wgt.com/help.aspx

In regards to the ball, were you using a Starter unlimited WGT ball or the free sleeve of balls players receive when signing up to the game?

If it was not the WGT unlimited balls, please note that just as in real golf, if you hit a virtual golf ball into the water or out of bounds, you must replace it with a different ball. Also, when you play with a real golf ball it begins to lose compression and eventually becomes less playable. We have a similar concept in WGT where balls purchased from the Pro Shop have a durability factor and will wear out as you use them. You get roughly three rounds of golf with each ball before it wears out.

When a ball wears out you will receive the message that the ball has been "Taken Out of Play".

Additionally, when a balls wears out, it is automatically replaced by another ball of the same type from your inventory. If you have none of the same type, they are replaced instead with a free WGT starter ball. Please check the FAQ to learn more about
    golf balls.

Also, whenever you have an issue in the game please be sure to submit a bug report and contact Support here: http://www.wgt.com/help-request.aspx

Maybe a note here, if your going to compare it to real golf , you should say that unlike in real golf, you may not got to the spot where your ball went ob and retrieve it or go to the edge of a water hazard where it trickled in and retrieve it. Since this is not real golf and we are in the business of selling virtual balls it is important for us to take balls out of play at every opportunity, thank you.

Further to Flexibles added notation, and Admins comparison to real golf, can Admin tell us when we can swap and change a ball at any time in practice mode please?

This game has limitations as it is a computerised golf simulation, so comparisons are futile.

But for the OP - you must have rocks in your head buying such an expensive sleeve of balls at your level, skillset and the clubs you have.

Yes balls wear out and will be lost of you find a hazard or OB, so start by using balls that cost les than 100cr for a sleeve. With your equipment I would not buy any balls.

Equipment (and ball) upgrades will improve your scoring, but as you know, you can play this game without spending a penny. If you do decide to upgrade - ask the forum for advice as it will save you wasted credits on poor purchases. Also many players never actually open their own wallet, by doing surveys etc they can upgrade at a cost of only their time.

Just bear in mind, WGT is a business, not a charity, and whilst you can play for free you have limitations and a disadvantage against players with better equipment.
