Not playing well in my tier level I wish you could be down graded to the next level and work your way back up again

each tier advancement means a new learning experience...you still have the most difficult one to tame i am afraid....from TM to Legend....good luck!!

You can go back to Q school, but alas you can't drop a Tier.

Q school meaning...  I noticed your last 3 games.  Those 3 pretty hard courses, or Oly and Best o Par4's would be the hardest.

Keep on the easy courses until you get the hang of the Tier your in and the confidence back.

    TopShelf2010:
While I understand what you are recommending Roger, this does have some drawbacks. Let me explain. When I first started playing Stroke Play rounds, I found so many of the courses to be difficult, so difficult that I avoided playing them. For the most part, I only played St. Andrews with an occasional round at Kiawah.

No Doubt,  I was the same when I first started. I hated Beth, so I avoided it something shocking ....lol .  Now I think Beth is easier that St.A.

In the lower Tiers, it won't take too long to get back into the swing as it's not too much of a jump.   I think the hardest promotion is Legend. That's why I tell everybody don't Tier up too quick as it's going to hit ya hard.

I've seen way too many players go to Legend and then are totally stuffed, eventually getting discouraged and quitting and of course if they are in trouble before then, then they are in big trouble and that's where that Happy Place kicks in.

The good thing about CC's,  we have the options to start any comp from different Tee's and Green Speeds.  If the Owner or the people who run em, start comps from different tee's and speeds then people in the lower Tiers can get good practice and not so much of a shock when they get promoted.

My biggest problem is Oly now...  I cannot Putt on those greens for some stupid reason,  So I only play it when I have to...lol  but, I will beat it too.
