Some folk use 40 foot scale etc for putting, if less than 10 i use the 10 but WGT usually always set with my 20ft. Same with irons, 166 ish yard flat approach then caddie please give me my 175 yard club, not my 190 pfft.

No reason for this to ever happen period. Best advice is measure twice and cut once. I have lost many balls over the years and had some, for me decent games spoiled. Been this way since day one and I don't see it changing. A good bit of revenue has been generated with this little (intentionally programmed quirk). Just saying.

Another perfect example, I was just playing Cabo, birdie putt 4 inches down at 9 feet, gives me a 30 ft putting scale. Totally idiotic programming. I saw it and laughed my A$$ off. If this isn't intentional then what the hell is it?
