I think the way rg's are is fine

Of course you think that as an apologist for WGT. It is quite clear that WGT condones cheating and have openly supported it in the very recent past. Once in the first CC clash allowing the "magic putter" to go to a cheat and secondly giving 3rd place to a person who had the cheat engine on his desktop visible.

So dont hold your breath that WGT will see what every person can just by checking profiles, score history and equipment

some very  good points made..system needs a make over

    Fine idea.

And next to the RG score there should be a "ding %"

Ding  %,  thats a genius idea bud.   That should be there for all the formats..  Can be really helpful, if you think a bit on it.

Back in the day with WGT balls as the best, and the G10 irons or I15? irons,,,you were on your own, there was not "hit it and stick it"

Exactly, Mike. I too remember those days.

As far as Ding % goes - what does that have to do with anything? I rarely ding irons and my putter... ffs, I'm doing good to ding my driver  lol

Like Baggs said, OP - an opinion. This game is not what it used to be 3-4 years ago and with the influx of gamers here - good luck in those RG's.

You know the old saying about assumptions - 'nough said.

It means that if you  have 100% Ding you most propably have used an autodinger program.

I play solid in RG but if my ding % was shown it would only be around 50%.

So a ding % would show who is talented and who is needing help from cheat programs.

A good dinger like Fmagnet is around 80% and he is really good at it.

So if you have 100% or 98 % your reputation goes south

Legend Tier Ready Go - 300 Rounds

    Tour Master Ready Go's  - 200 Rounds

    Master Ready Go's- 160 Rounds

    Tour Pro Ready Go's - 100 Rounds

    Pro  Ready Go's -  75 Rounds

Here is the reason i would like WGT to implement, the above method.

Having played a lot of Ready Go's lately, there is 1 thing, which disappoints me the most ( no it's not my scores.lol ) , Its  seeing a Legend, with 120 Ranked rounds, shooting very low scores consistently in RG's and winning credits..

The simple reason, they are able to score such low scores, is that Tour Legend's, who have mastered this game, simply make a new account and start shooting low scores on a consistent basis.

Thus, the regular pattern i have noticed, with those 120-130 ranked round Legends, is that,  they start playing Ready Go's in Pro tier,  then they quickly move from Pro to Tour Master in a matter of Weeks.. and eventually start tiering up the Legend RG's.

Hence, to slow down this process, i have proposed the idea of being eligible for specific tier RG, by counting the number of Ranked rounds, they have played, which is time consuming, and hence, will put some break on those TL's making new accounts.

Let me, know what you'all think.. This is just a rough idea, i know it will need a lot of tweaking, but this is the line we got to think in, to improve the RG experience, and get genuine people.

Brilliant post!, multi-accounts , auto dingers & C.E *s  just take away the true values & morals of the great game of golf!       the guidelines above are a great idea IMO....
