Perhaps someone has already posted to this.  There are so many I couldn't read them all, but my question is this, it just me or does the game always stall at least on 1 hole per an 18 hole round?  For me, it's always hole #3 on St. Andrews. It always cost me a ball and it doesn't matter where I hit, the speed meter just goes all the way to the end!  No, really, the end!!  Same hole almost always. And for those questioning my speed connection on the internet, fairly sure I'm heads and tails above most, I'm pushing 50mbps.  Needless to say, It's very suspicious and discouraging.

    No such thing happening here.

    Some possible reasons:

    - your mouse may be in fault, battery, IR connection, dust, ?button?,

    - your CPU may be too busy, check a CPU meter (e.g. in the Task Manager),

    - R U on WLAN? Try a cable connection to the modem / router.

    - Using Chrome? Two Flash versions might be active due to an update. Check and search for cure on "Pepper Flash".

In order to ease CPU load, close other programs, close other browser windows. It does wonders to have nothing but one browser window open.

I'll go ahead and change the batteries in the mouse.  That is perhaps the most probable even though this computer is state of the art and only 1 month old.  I usually close all windows, except for the 2 that WGT uses.  Perhaps I will go ahead and close the unnecessary window  that takes you to the proshop and only use the play screen.  No chrome, but hey, I never thought about an update for flash!   I appreciate you taking the time to respond Alosso.  Many Thanks :) *bow*

    You're welcome David.

A simple cable mouse works best in this game AFAIK.

If the equipment advise does not help, try taking a practice swing.  Act like you are going to take the shot, but let the meter go to the end and then try again.

Some players do that as a routine.  Helps timing as well.

Don't forget his advice on closing down unneeded programs.  You don't need  (for example) Advanced System Care running in the back ground, hogging up cpu%.

THIS!  Wish I knew you could do this when I started playing the game in the beginning.  If you anticipate something fishy with you meter.... just let the swing pass by.  Your avatar will take a practice swing and there is no penalty accessed.

    Alas, I am foiled again.

All of these were excellent.. and all were correct.  In addition.. I've learned something I think is crucial.  When you log on from the proshop screen to online playing.. see how long it takes to connect.  If it goes.. 4.. 17.. 32.. 56.. 85.. 100%... quit.. and start over.. if it logs on immediately.. like 42% - 100%... tis good.

The only tab on your computer that is open should be the game client page.

When you want to play WGT, clear all your browser histories, caches.

    Better yet:

I have CCleaner configured to run when I close Chrome, clear Chrome, temp system files, and all the /Flash Player caches too.

I re-start Chrome, only open the game client tab, and log in on the game client page.
