...though it was interesting since it pertained to video games and gaming peripherals.

Took 30 minutes.  Was supposed to get 180 credits.  At "99% complete", I answered the last question and it said "Thank you.  That is all the questions we have for you."

The next screen said "Bummer you do not meet the criteria for this survey."  Gave me my 5 credits and dropped me.

I was OK with the first twenty surveys taking advantage of me and getting a little information before dropping me.  This survey let me answer all of the questions and then didn't deliver on their end of the deal.

Nothing against you and not intending to offend you, but you may have learned an important lesson concerning these surveys:

Accept the feeling to be scammed, or stop participating.

It may be difficult to do something about the "lost" credits.

If it wasn't for surveys I wouldn't play. They've earned me tens of thousands.

My survey said 10 min but after 40 min the survey completed and started over with no credit to me. Why is WGT having so many problems. Also wish they could fix the game from unexpected errors and closing.

I'm not exactly sure why the surveys make people go through the entire process only to get denied. Unfortunately WGT doesn't even have access to any survey/offer database. It isn't actually a WGT issue on our end but the surveyor denying the player because of "XYZ". As mentioned there are plenty of other surveys to do. Hopefully more of them will work for you.

All of the surveys and "offers" are a roll of the dice, at best..  Either get used to it, or stop participating and open up your wallet. That might sound harsh but it's true.  I've been beat out of credits more times than I care to recall, but I keep coming back.. mainly because that's the only way I can afford to buy the balls I like to use.

Try not to think about how many times you get hosed and just focus on how many times you were successful and the end result.. which is anywhere from 100-200 credits per day for me.

I don't complain much here - I do whine on our country club forum a bit - lol. But I read Typhoon's response here and am still trying to digest it properly. I am hoping he will come back and explain it more thoroughly.

The "it isn't actually a WGT issue" is what kind of bugged me. Surveys are a part of WGT and WGT promote them for players/customers to earn credits to spend at WGT. I own a business and I don't sell or recommend products that I haven't tried, don't like, or have issues with durability. I am sure there are more reasons, but Typhoon, it is bad business in general to have whoever runs surveys screw your customers over and then say - "there are plenty of other surveys for you to do."

30 minutes of time for most of us here is TOO valuable to get screwed by a survey company. It was one reason I haven't done a survey for ages. I either hopefully win credits or eventually buy credits with cash. For the players that rely on these credits, WGT needs to take a bit more initiative with their survey partners than "oops, I guess you got screwed on that one partner - move on to another survey please."

In my survey taking days, it was not a coincidence - it was frequent. However, like someone else said, it "went with the territority" of taking surveys. I just was a bit annoyed with the "not a wgt issue" comment.

My Whine for the day - i have earned around 7K in credits taking surveys and i have been scammed out of around 9K to date getting kicked out of surveys like you did - so about 45 percent you get some credits - 55 percent you get burned - this is the average on that and i also disagree with what Typhoon said - he/she could have a little more tact i think but all in all it is a free deal versus the alternative paying out of pocket for credits so no matter how much we complain it won't change anyone's opion or action - WGT can't/won't do anything about it so just say so Typhoon don't beat around the bushes so now i guess i go flip a quarter and see if it comes up 45 percent or the usual 55 percent in order to get some credits today.

    Good Golfing

It's not right Slick, but it's the attitude the company has had since I've been here. Their position is indefensible so I doubt you'll get an reply to suit your needs. It's just a shady way to do business, and treat your customers.. You're right about that.

    Like this "offer" right here..

If anyone opened that up and read what it said, they'd think "cool, I can do that..".. But that's a lie.  There's no way to complete that offer without clicking through 50 pages of ads trying to sell you crap.. and then you eventually run into a brick wall where the only way to get past it is to buy something.. Now keep in mind, that's AFTER you've not only given them your email..but also your name, address, phone # and whatever else you're naive enough to give them.

And no, it's not WGT..  but they should be held accountable for these scams.
