  Hi all,

  I was wondering if gift certificates (CVS, Subway, etc.) work for buying credits outside the United States.

  I'd love to get some good news.  I'm really tired of gifting golf balls!  I'd rather just send out a gift certificate and let the person on the other end load it and buy what they want.

  careful with the cvs cards  I tried that once  and apparently only certain ones are accepted ... cvs's customer response was wtf are you talking about there are no other sites authorized to accept our cards :)

  Subway card codes work internationally, a good CC friend sent me a code to help me buy my vforged nikes.

  That's great news, Paul!  I knew they worked in CAN ... just wasn't sure they worked with the other monetary systems.

  Thanks for the info.  I so detest having to gift from the pro shop ... esp if the member uses Cally Legend or Max "Pro" golf balls.

  Again would it not be prudent for WGT to finally introduce the CC bank facility. Then WGT still have control and the need for "workarounds" would be limited.

  We've been after that bank for quite some time.  I seriously doubt there's anyone at WGT that knows how to run a banking system like they proposed.

  So next year my money is on "Coming Soon" still being displayed when you click on the Bank from the game client!  lol.

   

  I'm just happy this will work for the CC members no matter where they are.  I do lots of gifting to the CC members.  This just works better than taking a WAG at what to buy.  Not the best overall solution to the problem, but better than nothing at all.
