    Here I thought this was just another game, something to pass the time & boredom. Turns out to be an entirely new world, of the virtual kind. After playing numerous rounds and donating a little bit of cash, I find myself wanting more. I guess one could say, to be a part of something bigger than the game. I joined in May of this year with 109 ranked rounds and a 69.2 average. Currently a Tour Pro but eagerly anticipating a promotion lol

    I'm growing tired of joining or creating games, only to be golfing solo by hole #2 or #3. I'm hoping there's a better way of spending my time. Although I'm a fairly competitive person in nature, I know this is a game and I have no plans of earning millions or winning every match that I play. Just looking for that something extra, hopefully with people that enjoy chat & banter along the way.

    Cheers from the Snowy Tundra of Northern Alberta

    Regards;

    Hi :)

    I think once you find a club to join, you will have more fun. Many of our country clubs have interclub matches or friendlies, or just fun games.

    G'morning Icon, thanks for the reply  ...'ppreciated.

    I had previously joined a club only to have it closed a week later for reasons unknown. I have a couple of requests floating around but knowing the Owners are busy it's fully understandable.

    With the names that have WGT preceding them, I'm assuming are Moderators of the site? Only curious, as it's always nice to know who I can direct questions to for the answers I'm unable to find on my own.

    Cheers

    Out of 10 scored strokeplay games, 8 I get to finish on my own. most people who quit haven't yet reallized that bad scores no more affect their average.

    BAD SCORES DO NOT AFFECT YOUR AVERAGE. THEY DONT!

    I m 68.3, I figured I would be 71 with the old counting system. Even then I hadn't quitted any multiplayer game to protect my average from going high.

    Play the game to the end. It is the best internet game. Imagine I have never played the real game. The only way to get better is play all courses- all games to the end

    Spread the word! WGT have done it! No more bad scores affect your average!

    What is the meaning to a good score if u miss all the fun?

    Stay there, fight it ! THAT IS THE SPIRIT
