When I have multiple balls I have purchased that are not of the same type, why is it I am forced to use range balls when I still have balls I have PAID FOR in my bag???

I suppose it's because the idiot caddie, that always hands you the wrong club, doesn't know if you want the "sparkling heart" Valentine ball, or the 10 cent "spin" ball or any of the other mistakes you don't like. ~ SP ~

    Mööp! Error!

The other balls are in your inventory (vulgo your garage), unavailable on the course.

No change of equipment in the bag, no change of balls!

Where I totally agree with your query, my advice is to never start a round with just 1 good ball. Too many ways to lose it such as water or out of bounds. I think we should be able to pull other good balls out as well if we lose our last one but WGT will not commit to this option. I use the Nike lvl 92's and currently have 11 of them on hand.

I suspect it's because of the way the game program works.

As it is now the game program is such that there can be only 2 ball performance profiles available in the game - the ball the player equips the bag with before the game starts and the generic starter ball profile that is the same for every game.

Imagine the difference in the complexity of the programming if players could equip their bag with a variety of  ball makes/models.
