I have been in a CC for a year(?), and received yesterday an invite to join another club, from martin something. I asked my CC president about it, he said it was probably a friend invite. I said no, it was Orange. He said I should mention it to WGT. No one else I know got one, and I didn't know the guy.

That is very strange. Can you take a picture of the invitation? That is if you haven't already declined it.

Anybody can go to your Home/Profile page and click the CC invite button to join their CC.

....but you can only be in one country club

i just delete them as they come in. they are just looking for players that put up alot of points for their cc. its the same as friend invites they see you on their friends list and send you an invite.

i will take a screen shot next time i see it. it has happened to me several times, once in the last week.

Why would that be strange? It's very common to receive invites from other CC owners while being in a CC yourself, I must've deleted over a hundred of them over the past year. I just think you can't accept them while being a member somewhere else. I wonder what would happen though, would that mean you automatically leave the old one, or maybe the accept tab wouldn't do anything, if you didn't leave the old one first.

You would automatically leave your old club and go to the new one. I have had several of my members accept by mistake and then have to return again. Not a fan of poaching members from other clubs, if someone wants to come to me, that is fine but i do not go looking

It's not strange IMHO but part of your programming (no judgement included). By this, it is legal, though I, too, consider it unfriendly.
