Could someone please tell what a free drop means? I was at hole 18 on Andys and got the message "free drop" and was send back to the teeshot for my second shot. WHAT!!!! Didnt get out of bounds. I thought I should have been allowed to shoot a place near the place were my ball stopped. But maybe im misunderstanding something here.
Interesting, what a free drop tells me that you were not penalize stroke and distance. Thus, instead of being 3 off the tee, you were only hitting your second shot. What did you land on?
Yes, thats correct. Didnt get penalized. Took my second shot from tee. I was hitting the cart and was rolling on the along the barriere to the right. I think I was around 40-50 yards from the pin. Couldnt see what I excactly land on but got the message "immovable ..............." and then "free drop"
