    PaulTon:

Do you mean Axis browser by Yahoo?

    I wouldn't know (Ha) I don't see anything about an Axis. I just push the Internet button and Yahoo shows up, then I type wgt and push "go"....I think ;-}

If this is your 'internet button', then your browser is Internet Explorer.

Yahoo is your chosen search engine Lily, it's not a browser.

i just gave the slimjet one a shot so far pretty good (based off chrome)

The best one I've ever used, too.

I've tried IE, Chrome, Maxthon (2,3,4), Dragon, IceDragon(which is really, really good, but smaller game window), Firefox (which is going downhill fast), Palemoon, Avant, Opera, and Safari.

Whenever you figure out how to resolve the problems you caused me in the last update...let me know.

Prior to this update my meter in Chrome was "useable". Now it's stupididly unuseable. I've tried IE, Chrome, Comodo and any other browsers you would care to mention, And PLEASE don't ask about clearing caches and such.,,,I'm not  going to listen to your usual responses.

When you get this "GAME" to work for everybody. let me know. I'm not jumping through any more useless dog and pony hoops to make it work. It either works or it does not.

Telling people to perform more and more Snake Oil fixes is just BS.

Either make it work for all,,,or say goodbye. I've got an Xbox that kicks your ass.

Either get it together...or get the hell out of this business.

I love this one, DITTO DITTO DITTO, keep the geeks out

Make sure your Flash Player Website Privacy Settings panel is empty, and make sure there are minimal processes/applications active in the background.

My meter has always been decent for the most part, but I did find something on the Microsoft website that was causing a conflict between my modem and my network adapter in Windows 7. Not to mention my Internet dropping off occasionally.

First the conflict. Open Network and Sharing by right clicking the computer in the system tray and click See full map in the upper right side. If you see a question mark in the map, there's a conflict in your network map.

To fix this, click change adapter settings on the left side column. Your Local Area Connection will show up. Left click to highlight Local Area Connection then right click > then click Properties > right click the Authentication tab. Look for the box labeled IEEE 802.1x and uncheck the box if you use a hard wired modem. The question mark in your Internet map will be gone and the conflict it caused will be fixed.

Second, here's a fix for your Internet connections dropping off suddenly.

Open Device manager by typing Device manager in the Windows Start search box. Open Device manager and expand Network Adapters. Right click your Ethernet controller and click Properties > click the Power management tab and uncheck the box that says, Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.

That's it. This worked for me. My Internet hasn't dropped off since.

The above two problems are potentially what was causing Jakestanfill problems with his new laptop a few years back.

Simply set your power options to high performance and your performance options to best performance and you will see big change in how well the meter performs.
