    I play rarely uneven course. Today I played a round on Best of Par 4 and I saw my average going up 0.3 points as I scored +3! That's incredible. WGT don't calculate Best of Par3 and Par5 and matchplays (single, partially, and alternate) i.e. normal and very common rounds for any WGT players, and take count, of an experimental version of the game, quite difficult, expecially for the rookies, offered in very low percentage (10%?) of the total amount of WGT rounds, as well as the others games?! I don't understand it. Byeee

    Are you rookie? - Ehm, no ;)

    You may know that tournaments are ranked rounds, even or uneven.

    May I further remind you that high scores raise the average only temporarily, until it will be saturated. In the long run, bad scores disappear by themselves without a trace.

    Don't worry, have fun!

    Rookie for uneven, obviously. I know perfectly the situation and I don't care at all about the average, I simply disagree about the management of the average. Best of Par 3 and 5 are not  ranked rounds? Why if I score 29, my 62.65 average lowers 0.1 and, on the contrary, if I score 34 my average goes up 0.2? Ect, ect, ect... It's seems to me that we are in front of a random millionaire management lol  Byeee

    the best of par 3 and best of par 5 courses are not condsidered into average accountability due to the par score for the courses.  Best of Par 3 is a 27 and best of par 5 is a 45, that is why they do not count for your average.

    The best of Par 4, however, does count because the par for the Best of par 4 is a 36,

    for the best of par 3 and 5, some things from those courses will impact your statistics, however, just not your average score.

    hope that helps

    Leo beat me to it, but how to translate a 18x3 = Par 54 course into a regular average? Same for Par5s (Par 90). Is the former more difficult, the latter easier with all the eagle chances? To me, it's perfectly understandable that they stay out of such discussion by excluding them.

    A 29 = 58 is about 4.5 from your average, for a 34=68 it's 5.5 => bigger difference, more change.

    I doubt if the changes were not 0.02 and 0.03? Otherwise you'd have only approx. 50 RRs - your score history proves differently.

    Until now, I've not found any faults in this calculation.

    IN THE SAME WAY THEY TRANSLATE THE OLYMPIC F9  PAR 34 IN FRONT OF A  COMMON PAR 36. JUST MATHEMATIC. A BIRDIE OR AN EAGLE PLAYING A NORMAL COURSE ROUND IS DIFFERENT FROM A BIRDIE OR AN EAGLE SCORED ON THE SAME HOLE, BUT IN DIFFERENT COURSE? NO! THEY ACCEPT THAT MANY BUILT UP THEIR OWN PRIVATE AVERAGE, MADE WITH PRIVATE STROKE UNLIMITED ROUNDS PLAYING FROM EASY TEE, IN EASY CONDITIONS AND THEY DON'T CALCULATE THE BOP3 AND 5 FOR NOT FACILITATING THE AVERAGE? JUST RIDICULOUS.

    IT'S NOT THE DOUBLE. 0.1 AND 0.2?!

    I HAVE HUNDREDS OF RRs BUT, ANYWAY, THE A.M. CHANGES  IN AVERAGE, HAPPENED ONE FOLLOWING THE OTHER, BETWEEN  LAST NIGHT AND TODAY

    They don't translate anything. A 34 is a 68, a 37 is a 74. No "translation" of Par3s etc. in sight. Take my rule: Only courses with Pars from 60 to 80 count to the average ;)

    Sorry to say, the calculation doesn't fit together with your numbers. No further analysis is possible under these conditions.
