Re: Running out of a good ball during a round...

  We all have ran out of an 'upgraded' ball in the middle of a round. Whether it has cost you some credits during a challenge, or your personal best score, you know how hard it is to adjust to the default regular ball after using the good ones.

  If we have another kind of premium ball in our 'equipment' it should select those first. When there are no better ball available then the regular ball is put into play.

  That is why you should always make sure you have at least 1 extra sleeve of the ball you are going to be playing. By the way at anytime during a round before you run out of your balls you can click on your avatar name above the menu and click on equipment and scroll over to go to pro shop and buy balls. So unless you can't afford to buy them at that time there is no reason to run out of the ball you are using. I learned the hard way myself I ran out of my balls on # 17 @ St.Andrews and had to go to the free ball and wasn't ready for the super fast meter of the super-Tri with the free ball and I sliced my drive out of bounds twice. Costing me a win in a Country Club premium tourney. I now make sure I have at least 1 extra sleeve of the ball I am going to play.

  funny thing just happened...was skippin thru the forums...read this one...thought to myself "i should buy some balls...havent tried any in a while"

   so i run to the Pro Shop and pick a sleeve...44 credits what the hell, not like im spending real money (earned credits)

  so I pick a tourney to play...Andys front 9...shoot a 34...coulda been alot better if i made some putts. As for the balls, got my Plat and Crystal Drive awards 364 and 383 yds on back to back holes. Man I should have done this awhile ago.

  Next tourney Andys 18 ...1st hole 30yds to the pin...hit my LW at least the full 30...it goes str8 in the Burn. Couple holes later with the wind ball takes a funny hop right into the thick stuff...LOST BALL...there goes ball 2...next tee shot same thing right into the thick stuff...LOST BALL...there goes ball 3...back to my ol' reliable Starter ball...tee it up...lo and behold...funny hop straight into the thick stuff

   Good thing I didnt have enough credits to buy 2 sleeves. Oh well...it's just a game
