I was playing on St. Andrews and trying to line up an approach shot, I switched cameras and for the life of me I could not locate the pin.  Then on another angle a short white stick appeared that was 35-40 yards from the real pin.  I had to guess and missed the shot terribly.  I've also seen the bottom half of the pin dissapear close to the green.  What is going on.

First they take the replay away which basically eliminates any possibility of reviewing and improving your shots, now they expect us to play without knowing where the cup is.

    I give up!

Hi Charlie.  Check your Flash setting in the game Options.  The lower the setting (which I prefer) the worse everything looks...and that can affect seeing where the pin is located...sometimes it disappears completely from some angles.  It has been suggested that a lower Flash setting does (or may not) make the game play smoother...so its a trade off.

Not to be critical of your post Joey, but why should we as paying patrons, have to jump through hoops and barriers just to play this game?.....Charlie's report of missing or misplaced flagstick is just another of the many "PLAUGES" that has intered this site lately

Hey WGT "tweakers"... stop TWEAKING and at least acknowledge that your site has some serious issues to resolve.... not just talking about "flagsticks", how about continuous meter spikes, inconsistancys in shot distances, tweaking the putter power meter, etc etc etc and the latest one "you have lost connection w/wgt" out of the clear blue. Happened today while reading and replying to posts!!!!

I understand what you guys are saying.  I'm not defending WGT, but I would have quit a long time ago if I hadn't done some tweaking and found some work a rounds.  I discovered, long ago, that many of the problems I had were because this is a web based game.  And because of that, I play the game my system allows me to play.  If there is something I can do, on my end, to make this game playable, that's what I need to do.  Maybe, someday, WGT might figure out how to smoothly stream this game to everyone, on their end, but until that happens, we can either quit or figure out what works for us.

    Joey...come back

Thanks Joey,  you diagnosed it perfectly, yes I had my flash settings set to "Low" to prevent any meter issues (I see no difference in meter episodes).   And the meter tends to cost me a stroke or 2 per game regardless.

I can't help thinking that with the money I've invested in WGT that I could have easily afforded a nice golf game software disc and played right off my computer, but where's the fun (agravation) in that, lol.
