    My grandson  downloaded WGT on his tablet , to my  surprise.

    I noticed the meter is way way smother than the one I use on my desk top . why is this?

    It is plain and simple. It is not flash based and browser dependant.

    With a PC, you can play Android games by using BlueStacks

     

     

    On my phone, the meter is smooth except for some pretty big jumps that happen too frequently, probably because of other things the phone is doing in the background.  On the PC, my meter is smooth, but I get a delayed click.  The meter wasn't smooth while recording this video with OBS.  It was stuttery but predictable.  The big jumps you see in the video are in the recording, not the game.

    It's a different experience....I'm playing left-handed!  I like being able to swing without having to go back to the main camera.  Can't pull the flagstick.  On the 2nd hole, notice how much slower the dots move in chip view than they do in putt view.  

    This might be worth a try for anybody who has persistent issues in Flash.
