I believe its border line thievery when WGT takes my balls out of play....I pay for them, what gives them the right to do that... Its the most annoying thing on this website!!!! That would be like going to play golf at a real club and buying a sleeve of balls, and on the 11th hole some guy coming up to me and saying,"give me those balls you just paid for in the clubhouse"...WTF

It's better than paying green fees. Each ball has a limited life so it wears out when the ball gauge gets to zero.

Difference is, you own the real balls that you bought.

Here, you pay for a license of limited use, around 100 shots per ball unless it ends in off-license areas. See T&Cs.

Nah! It isn't like that at all.

I have the same problem. Seems that every time I buy new balls, they go into hazards in copious numbers. I just bought a sleeve day before yesterday and they suddenly started bouncing into water hazards and weeds. I just bought 2 sleeves of new balls and one of them is lost already. They seem to take on a mind of their own. I have complained about this before, along with other players who experience the same problem. When these two sleeves run out, I will either pack up and leave WGT or start playing with house balls. I, like anyone who plays here, want to improve my game, which involves increasing distance and accuracy. When I hit a good shot and it bounces 10 yards into a lateral hazard, and they drop a new ball for me behind a tree. Now  I have played real golf, and I would never think of dropping behind a tree, when the rules tell me I can drop 2 club lengths no closer to the hole, and in water hazard in the fairway, I can drop back as far as I want as long as I keep the entry point between me and the other side of the hazard whether it be green or fairway the other side. I am a decent driver, and iron player, and it gets aggravating.

It's more like buying a sleeve of balls, and on the third round your ball has too many scratches and cuts so you toss it and pull out another.
