  Remember ONE screen in 'cattle class' area and had to buy the headphones to plug in to the seat rest...so far away from it I gave up and tuned into the radio...

  I say  "radio" ( pre recorded dross with a hospital DJ chatting ) :))

  Got to go on the flight deck a few times though..try doing that nowadays !!

  Nostalgia eh....:)

  You could even have a crafty f.a.g (that was censored by wgt! wtf!) at the back....try doing that nowadays!

  lmao I used to have a walkman (cassette player for the youngsters here) for music, and plug my own headphones into the plane system for the comedy. As you say, if you wanted to watch a film in economy, forget about it.Spoilt for choice nowadays...I can never sleep on long haul so tend to watch 3 or 4 films.

  Did that last year on a shorthaul European flight with a budget airline, ahem! hope the pilot didn't get in trouble.
