Every aspect of this game has gone to crap, Fitz. If it doesn't bother the newbies, then it doesn't matter, and won't get fixed. WGT is showing now that it's number one customer, and ONLY concern is keeping the newbies interested and depositing $$$.
To show how the game plays 100% totally different, sign out, leave the game client open, and play as a guest (It's not against any rules or T & C). You will do no wrong. Any putt within 6 inches of the hole will magically go in. Shanked shots will defy logic and physics and end up nicely. And, it is fun to play.
If not for one last CC obligation, I would not even sign on for CDP'd, anymore. I do try to play a little now, just to not get too rusty, and let me partner down. Once that tourney is done, and things are still the same, I'll be taking a long time off.
It's sad too, because this could be the best online golf game.
