I'm hoping some one can help me choose some new wedges please, not even sure if I'm a high enough level to get better ones or i should wait to unlock new one.

at the moment i have 3 wedges that hit 65, 75, 85, one still tour starter, they have different meter speeds and not much forgiveness, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!!

Frankly, I didn't play with all of them but the ones I did play with were not that much different...I played with the Max spin lvl 50's wedges until I could buy the level 70's cleveland wedges because that's when you start to see a big difference in them...now those 895 clevelands are 1595 though...

I hated ALL the lower level wedges, very inaccurate to me...

    Scooter,

I second what fatdan said. The MAX wedges at this level are your best over all choice. They bring the ball in higher and actually have some spin on the ball.

I would trade that starter wedge for a 64 degree wedge. Get one that matches the 2 you already have. Those Satins are discontinued and I believe the ATV's replaced them so that ATV 64W would do the trick.

Your gaps are a little close at 10 yards and adding a 50 yard wedge will spread them out. Then you use the punch shot to fill in the gaps and your short game improves dramatically.

The wedges around level 50 are all decent tools for waiting until you are allowed to buy the really good ones. I prefer a 50 75 100 yard set. But I used the Cleveland 60 80 100 ones because I was too impatient to wait for the Taylormade wedges . Now I have the high end Max Meter wedges and am very happy with them. If I decide to eventually buy the Nike Level 100 Irons I will buy driver and wedges with matching 3.5 meter speed. That is the Taylormade set I bypassed so far.I consider an identical meter speed among my equipment very important.

If the Max's are the same ones I had don't use full backspin LOL, they use to be rated at like 5 dots spin, they will back up using center ball no spin...I think I had to use a hair of topspin on the 60yd wedge to kill it when it landed...
