  I just turned master and need to upgrade irons badly.  Would it be a waste to buy the L33 R11s now.  or are e G20s worth the wait?

  Good question. The L-59 Pings look terrifc in all areas esp the high flight which is key. You are at L51 and I believe if you wait a minute until L-52 you could pick up the Nike      L-52's and then take another thought when you hit L-59. I would skip the R-11 idea ;-}

  I agree with SP.

  The R11 are a good buy if you get them right when you gain access, especially if you aren't playing enough daily to advance quickly on a calendar basis.

  IMHO, the L59 Pings are worth it. I haven't played the L52 Nike's as I went from the L32 R11 to the L59 Pings.

  If you don't want to spend money on two sets so close to each other I would hold out for the L59 Pings, their high ball flight will let you pull off shots you can't with the medium trajectory clubs. The only downside is you will notice a larger influence from the wind but it isn't anything you can't get used to.

  L59 ping irons are very good. much better than lvl31 R11s.
