  You might consider joining a country club where all manner of tournaments occur. Most clubs have better organization than WGT.

  There is a community-organized uneven lies Ryder Cup every six months or so. Qualification for the next cup just began last week: http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/296570.aspx

  Thanks mm! Yes, the next Uneven Lies Ryder Cup will take place Sep/Oct @ Chambers Bay. Players hoping to make either the US or ROW team need to participate (and do well!) in the free weekly UEL single-play 18-hole WGT tourneys. Best 9 out of 12 weeks' worth of scores and credits won will count towards places, so it's not too late to give it a try.

  For those up-and-coming players, the popularity of the Tough-It-Out Starters events (see latest example) is prompting me to consider putting on a Ryder Cup-style event for that format as well in the late spring/early summer, so please watch the forums for that.
