    check out your local target store if you have one,they sell a basic G.E. brand wired optical mouse that is very solid and precise and cost around $9.00, heck of a deal and plays the same or better than more expensive ones.

    Actually the cheapest mouses don't play exactly like the gaming mouses do...

    You can change the speed(dpi setting) on a gaming mouse...they are more responsive but were talking milliseconds here, BUT that can be a 5ft putt instead of 10ft...or 15ft as opposed to 30ft depending on how good you play  lol

    little bit more than you wanted to spend but comfort can not beat the microsoft arc mouse pinky finger and ring finger curl under the mouse awesome just make it go flat to turn it off and save battery life
