  Can see this going down to the very last game...Incredibly even contest so far and just hope I aint playing that final game lol...Come on Stig, we don't want that pressure hehe..

  myself and Mark just had a great game  v  Mike and Ben

  2 amazing approach shots by Mark and Ben on the par 3 8th hole both within 2 ft to keep the game all square

  but unfortunately for UKGE English lakes win 1 up due to a very nice bird they scored on the 9th hole.

  good game against 2 good guys ,well done Mike/Ben i enjoyed the game

  The Stigmeister and Yours truly just had a great game and chat with John and Russell...Great game with some great putting skills on show from John early on and some wayward approaches from me, but then what a way to finish..Russell clinched a great win for ELCC with a hole in one on 8 to take a 2&1 win.

  Really enjoyable game guys and here's to some more in the future I hope..2 top blokes from a top CC..Well done guys and unlucky partner...Next time lol

  I have to say it was a most enjoyable game against David and Stig,with good chat and good company.The game was played in the spirit it's meant to be played,fun and good banter.Stig and yourself are 2 fine representatives to your fine CC aswell,and i'm pretty sure our 2 CC's will cross paths again.

   Got to agree my pard made some good putts on 1st couple of holes,as for my ace on #8 was a tad fortunate as i clicked couple of pixels earrly lol,but i'll take it :)

  So it appears that it does indeed all come down to the final Alt Shot game to decide whether it's a tied match or a win for ELCC.

  Another amazing contest (last one was equally close) and here's to many more in the future.

  Fantastic play from both sides and the feedback as always superb in terms of great banter and enjoyable matches. I know for sure our guys have had a blast as always and good luck to the final 4 guys...No pressure lol...

  Fashionably late to this party! :)

  Just wanted to say a word about our alt shot oppo's Cizzy and Scottie. I had the pleasure of a few holes with them a couple of days ago as they patiently waited for me and my P Eric to get the match on. Two great guys and a barrel of laughs. 

  We got lucky in our alt shot and if memory serves me right, think we birdied every hole. Scottie had only just got in from training (having made a special effort to get there) but we just got the breaks for a very flattering score line. Despite that, two top guys who were great company.

  Always a pleasure playing ELCC - I'm starting to think we probably have two of the best CC's out there. Good luck to you all and hopefully meet up soon for another one.

  if thats the rule in case of a draw i may find myself cheering on English Lakes in the final alt shot match...lol
