I would like to have the option to use a tee or have a clean lie, mostly when I am on a par 3, just as almost everyone does in a real golf game

    Really?

I have played golf for years, never have I not used a tee on a par 3, why would I want to on here.

And how would it help in this game?

Distance primarily. And that distance greatly varies from ball to ball.

Yep, that's what the short ones are for.  Sometimes tough to get back out of the ground, pushed that far in.  Most of the time if you look around you might find one already there, just use it to tee on.

BTW I don't take divots, so on the ground would not do anything for me.  But then again, divots mostly are after the ball, not at or before.  So to accomplish what in game, is anybodies guess.

What advantage do you think you would gain?

I would like to gain consistency on par 3's. When the ball is on the tee, it travels farther.

I would like to elect "not" to have it on a tee to give me the consistency of shots taken with an iron, just as I would on a real golf course.

For me, in real life, I get a few extra yards with ball on a tee.  Speaking par 3's here, if I get to a par 3 and the yardage is , let's say a perfect 8 iron for me,  if I tee the ball up I have to try to take some off which can ruin a shot easily. If I don't use a tee, I can use a comfy spot on the tee box and take a normal swing at it.

As far as WGT goes,  ball on a tee goes further for sure, and I for one would like the option to go with no tee for similar reasons I would in real life.  Well that and because I can lol.

Other tee box option I'd like added is to move within the legal hitting area of the tee box.  Would help with crosswinds  and lay ups off the tee.  Two clubs back and left to right on the teeing ground.  Going back two clubs here would help on helping winds that won't help enough to  carry a hazard and moving back some would help not roll out into rough/hazard.  Again, something I use to my advantage in real life.

This don't matter for me. It's so easy to take off 4% with the meter, and often enough, I add a defined spin to lengthen or shorten the roll - by mouseclick.

Quite a task with a real club in my hands - I'm content to produce stingers with driver - sometimes ;)

Agree, was just saying that I'd like to have that option here, but we all know that there are bigger issues for WGT to work on.  Like better yellow Callaways and the option to fade/draw a ball.  ;-)

Although, I can only imagine how off they would be with the draw/fade option.  If uneven lies is any indicator of how far off it could/would be.  LOL
