  That's was my 1st thought, which is why I tried 2 others before I posted....could be a software or driver issue on my end since nobody else seems to have the problem...

  Try another USB port. Might not be the problem but when you don't know what the fix is, making a list of things it isn't helps.

  Using the scroll wheel in mouse to change club, eliminates that issue. I remember Lizard mentioning that in some post and following that, I've never had the issues of wrong club again..  same for the putting scale as well.

  I remember that post from Lizard, I always use the scroll wheel to change clubs anyway but thanks...

  Good thought YJ, if it starts doing it again I'll try that, ya never know...

  My 1st thought was "this mouse isn't that old and it is a wired gaming mouse it shouldn't be worn out already"....so I used another cheap wired mouse and a wireless mouse and it did it with all 3 and only at BPB...

  however I had played the unlimited and TA tournaments several times with no problem until Saturday so it had to be the mouse or something on my end...then came the last round in the TA, and something was amiss on each hole, #1 Wedge instead of driver and meter releasing early, #2 Meter release, #3 select 3i and it hit driver, #4 Meter and shot I know not only came up WAYYYY short but you could see the flight was off and something went wrong, like it was choppy...

  I went back to the same gaming mouse I originally used last night and it wasn't happening, tried the weekly unlimited at CCC and it was ok...the only thing that changed was there was another flash update last night 17.xxx.169...

  Thanks for all the ideas, I will play the TA later and see if it happens again, but the meter issue seems to be gone as mysteriously and it came...

  I'm beginning to wonder if this is related. It seems every time there's a Flash update, crap starts happening where it never did before and then gets straightened out by itself. Like maybe something new doesn't work with something old until the new arrives (cache files?)

  Not sure if this is worth mentioning.

  Question, how many have issues after a windows update, or a flash update.

  My thoughts are as follows.  If there is a Net framework update, then all the files get recompiled, which takes time.

  I generally wait a couple of days, clear all the system restore points then create a new point.

  Also, all the pf (prefetches are updated) which can take time as well.  This also can take time and will cause some performance issues until it settles in.

  Lastly, flash update.  The prefetch may take a couple of days to settle in until windows decides the performance has been optimized.

  Should be interesting if there is a correlation between updates, and prefetches when meter issues occur.

  I would be willing to bet there is. A very long time ago, when WGTAlex was with WGT, she once offered that after an update you should play a few rounds until it straightens out (paraphrased.) That might still be pertinent if Dan's situation is any indication.  :-)

  Just played the front 9 of the TA at BP real quick using same mouse,pc, nothing new but flash update...smooth as silk...dot were fine, meter fine, caddy normal....-7 w/ a lipout and a par after a terrible approach on #7....

  I give up lol, have not idea what happened the other day, just that it did...

   

   

  edit: 10:20pm central time...just tried to play the weekly unlimited at CCC...caddy is cool, but the meter is releasing again, tried another wired mouse(#4) and same thing...I'm done..LOL
