WGTShamWow: Career earnings are a combination of WGT credits, values of prizes/trips won in tournaments, and promotion bonuses earned from advancing through the tiers.
Would you please explain how the tournament purses - displayed in credits - are converted into $ in the leaderboards and in the players' earnings, but are payed out in credits according to the account statements? Is there a conversion rate of credits to dollars?
How comes that the top player in the earning list has >60,000 $ displayed on the front page while this is >6,000,000 credits in his CC's list? Is 6,000,000 credits equal to 60,000 $? Isn't this against the T&Cs stating, "WGT Credits do not have monetary or stored value or any credit balance
of real currency or its equivalent"?
dewmac54: When you place in a tourn. in the top 30 I see money as A prize. for instance I think I have 19.00 total dollars I believe. Can you turn these into credits? I thought when you placed you automatically received credits.
I'm afraid to say that IMHO such dollar statement is only an illusion. Your account list shows what you received, probably 1,900 credits from those events included in that number, and the "conversion" to $ is probably only meant to stir players' greed for MONEY.
