im currently using a ping rapture set of clubs and g13-2 balls. I like the slower power bar as my reactions are not as good with the faster meter.

im thinking of upgrading to something else so sell my equipment and buy.

any help what to buy that will suit me please remember a slwer meter rather than fast.

im looking to add 1700 credits to my account.

The level 32 Ping Rapture V2 10.5 degree driver is a good club with a slow swing meter and similar to what you have and the Burner Plus Iron Set at level 27 are a decent club also.

Any of the drivers that unlock from level 30 to level 40 are better in both distance and precision than the rapture you have now. And if you wait until you make level 36 the G10 iron set is a very good set to use. And with the GI3-S ball the meter speed increase shouldn't be too bad. It just takes a little practice and a little patience. I am 64 years old and don't have the greatest reflexes in the world but with practice I have learned to time the meter fairly well and I am using clubs with the fastest meter speed available. Namely the TM R9 Super-Tri driver and the I15 iron set. And I use the Tour GI-s ball and at times I actually use the Tour-SD ball that has no feel at all. And if i can time the meter with the super fast clubs with a no feel ball anyone should be able to.   But one thing I would do if I were you would be to ditch the hybrid and get a 64 degree wedge. I find it extremely useful.

born dishes out some great advice... the g10 iron set is a great buy and the meter isn't too fast with GI3 balls. I got myself a 64 degree wegde three weeks back and its the best thing I've done... after my driver it is the most used club in my bag. IMO it is best to get clubs with similar meter speeds as this allows you to get into a certain rhythm... even if its in exchange for a slightly faster meter.

Practice with the starter balls until you get used to the speed.

This is probably the most important thing about club selection. You dont want a driver that has one meter speed and irons with a different meter speed. It just confuses the hell outta you. Try to get your clubs to be all the same meter speed if possible. I have my driver and irons at the same meter speed but my wedges are a lot faster. I dont mind the fast wedges because they are a lot more accurate close in and even if you dont ding it, you shouldn't be too far away from the pin. Definately invest in wedges when they become available. They will save you a lot of shots during your round.

The wedges from level 41 on are excellent.
