  As the stats are currently compiled, if you drive the green, it is not considered to be hit fairway. I don't believe this to be an accurate portrayal of the stats.

  It used to count on the green but not on the fringe. May have been altered though.

  But, I'm sorry to say, how can you expect any "accurate" stats while they start from your very first game, including all your Hack efforts etc? To me, these everlasting stats are useless anyway, I don't give a damn about them.

  I track my stats that i care about, GIR, average distance to the pin, and # of 1, 2, and 3 putt holes.  Also look at sand saves and scrambling.

  But I agree it would make more sense for the stats WGT tracks to be broken out by tier.  Almost everyone must have their stats improve as you tier up and change to better equipment.  Should have been easy to do it that way.
