is there a possibility to communicate with my friends online with head sets or microphones as the xboxes and ps3s?????????????
this will make it more fun as am tired of typing on the chat box

Skype is a great way to do that very thing.
Free download, incredibly easy to set up, clear as a landline, and (for me) has never had any affect on the game.
Yep, Jeff has it right. For those of us with fat fingers, who can only type with the 2 pointers, SKYPE is definitely the way to go. Google it. Also has the conference call, where you can talk with as many as 24 people at 1 time. (god forbid) also free. :-)
skype or ventrillo work for that yes, if you have a webcam you do not need a mic, I use the webcam mic here
ventrillo is nice..mirc is nice option if you must type .. a little easier with seperate windows imo
