  precision, forgiveness, balance what do things mean and how much difference say from a 3.5 to a 4 will it make on each one? which one is most important?

  precision is how  closely the ball will go where you aim it if you ding it. 

  Forgiveness is how much the ball will stay on line on miss hits and balance is how well the ball will stay on line on longer putts. All things considered I would say precision is the most important. Also check out the meter speeds. Slower the better for putts.
