Just like the title says.  I currently use the WGT Tour-S ball (.43 cent!) which has 2 dots spin, 1 dot distance, 1.5 durability, and 0 meter.  Now Imo the most important ball attribute is Spin and stopping power, however, almost every ball, moving up the tier adds quite a bit of distance and meter too.

So the next logical step for me would be to play Calloway 33s with 3.5, 3.0, 2.5, and 2.5.  My issue with that is I'd be paying 250 credits for quite a few attributes I don't want/need such as 3.0 distance and 2.5 meter.

I'd like to see more ball choices that offer more SPIN!, say between 3 and 4.5 with less attributes in the other categories.  If I could get high spin ball (3.5+), zero (to not much) distance, 2.5 durability, and zero meter (to not much) I'd be in Heaven.

And of course, they could do the same thing in regards to Distance or Meter.  Just give us more specialization in specific areas.  I for one would pony up a few more credits.  I'm sure I wouldn't be the only one ;)

Yes, probably we all wish there were more less expensive balls available with the particular attributes we want.  Probably been suggested before, with no action by WGT.  That you are able to be competitive w/o the need for a slower meter is a tribute to your reflexes and perhaps your youth.  I applaud that.  But as I mentioned before, some would say I'm part of the age group that has the reflexes of a hibernating bear.

I made up a simple way to compare balls.  I add all of the dots of attributes, and then divide it by the cost of each ball.  Then I can compare and find out which ball is the best value for me.  I've also found out that for me some balls have quirks.  I found the Volvik Crystal lvl51's had a lot more rolling resistance, and needed more power for ME to putt them my chosen distance indicated.

I also found out that I couldn't putt Nike 20XI-S lvl 47 spin balls worth a damn.  However, the Nike 20XI-Xlvl  works very well for me as an all around ball.  Putts where I want it to go.  If I miss, then the problem was my read of the green.

From the Championship tees, most of us are looking for an enhanced distance ball.  You might start tracking your AD2P for the next 10 - 20 rounds and see just how close you are.  Also keep track of the distance your approach shots require.  You might find that you want a little more distance, along with the spin.  Also, as a Legend, look at the WGT balls that unlocked for you.  But use my system to fairly compare them.

Hope it helps.  It works for me to do it this way.  GL,

I might change my thoughts on ball distance in time but for now I'm still focused on spin.  And the ball choices right now have very little in between 2 and 3.5.  At 2 you can find lot's of WGT something balls but they only have 2 spin.  The jump to 2.5 (which so what, .5 isn't great) immediately gets you 250 credit +.  There's no way I'd pay 155 or 185 credits for a WGT ball that only had 2 spin, even if it had +3 distance.  The ball still won't stop any quicker and that minimal distance would be insignificant imo.

You could have a +7 or +8 dot distance ball with 0 spin.......and then you could have a 4 dot spin ball with zero distance and the 4 spin ball would easily out perform the distance.  That's why I see less appeal to distance.  More spin will allow you to stop the ball regardless.  So I don't really care if I have a 5 or 7 yard further shot than someone else as long as I can stop my ball.

So here's to hoping some economical version of a moderate spin ball will eventually become available.  I'd gladly pay 100 credits per sleeve for a 3 spin, 0 distance, X durability, and zero meter.  As it stands right now, I go through balls WAY too much to even consider paying 250 credits a pop.

I think the spin rating works along w/ the distance rating, in a way. I think there might be a larger reason for this, but long story short, e.g. balls w/ real high spin may often be found to have large distance ratings that work in proportion.

But I kind of agree and I know what you're saying. I think someone might have suggested a build-a-ball feature, that would be interesting but not that probable.

I see you want a max spin ball from Max! I used to go along similar lines before I played with higher spin ones. My preferred choice now would be something like a longer Call L35(D-5) with faster meter,2(for some reason the meter is smoothest with that meter speed).

AS I was a little tired, I gave my formula wrong...you divide the cost of the ball by the number of dots.  That tells you what the ball costs per dot.  Just like buying a faster, fancier car, performance costs money.

Although the balls may have attributes you don't need, 2.5 durability will also last a lot longer.
