If and ,I mean If, I I make it through a round with a ball IRL. It is done.

Out of round and beaten to death. Goes in the shag bag.

yea.. me too... but mine is because you can only hit so many trees, cart paths, out buildings, golf carts, etc... before round is no longer an option.

    True.....

So how would you like it decided then?

I think you would be leaning to the  "Give me everything for nothing" crowd.

Forgive me Soulcatcher but while you make a good point, and I agree with the life span of rl golf balls, the opening poster made a valid point in stating that WGT has shortened the lifespan of existing balls. Balls, I would add that compared very favourably with others for cost-effectiveness.

Now, whether we accept this unilateral manipulation or otherwise is another matter, but I believe there is merit in asking the question, don't you?

The OP made a point 5 months ago.....

Somebody else (a known trouble maker) dug up an old thead for no apparent reason.

Has ball life degraded? I haven't noticed.

The person that dug up the thread was complaining that ball life was too short. Sure.. I also think that my car does not last as long as it should.. my dollar does not go as far as it should ....etc...

hmm i think they last a lot longer..then again im only playing ALT

    btw WGT top job

if you're only playing alt shots.....then they'll last twice as long lol.....cause you're only hitting the ball 1/2 as much.

I believe the point is still actual, of course only if it is ok with you, and feel that just recently the lifespan of the callaways has diminished. Now, I said 'I feel' and have no proof whatsoever, however if an admin from WGT comes and disprove my feeling I will openly apologise.

There is a continuous comparison with this game with real life golf; I believe these comparisons are redundant the minute they are made, for this game hardly ever behaves like real life golf.

In essence I agree with you that one can either like this game for what it is or otherwise can flex their consumer muscles and shop elsewhere, but let's not forget that this game is still in beta and users should be encouraged to give their perspective in order to help in making the game better and chastising those who have a different view from ours isn't the way to go nor our place to do so.

    Happy hitting to you also...

notice none of the WGT's respond-------they know this is a rip off.

No offense intended, but let me ask you a question...

If you ~know~ it's a rip off, and you ~know~ they ~know~ they're ripping you off...  Then who's the bigger fool?  The ones ripping you off, the ones that get ripped off once and leave, or the ones that know they're being ripped off and keep coming back for more?

They wrote about this 500 years ago.  Some people just don't learn.

For Who deceives me once, God forgive him; if twice, God forgive him; but if thrice, God forgive him, but not me, because I could not beware.

Well we know gasoline is a rip off yet we buy it. The game I lke, yes I like others, are critical of certain aspects of the enterprise. Yet there is not another game like it I have found, so I still play. Does that me I don't have the right to express complaints and ask for changes--I think no.
