  Have WGT ever thought about making a downloadable game client ?

  Wouldnt it get rid of alot of the cross browser issues and flash problems people seem to have by making it standard for all players. open the client, all updates are installed before you start to play,

  Pro's

  No downtime, all updates are installed as you start the game

  No cross brower or flash issues

  Able to moniter suspected cheats using 3rd party software ( dont ask me how but online casino and poker rooms seem to do it )

   Cons

  Large download ? 

   

  Just thinking out loud lol

  Game in progress now, cost to new members = Free

  Finished downloadable game,  cost to new members = $???

  This I believe would be the biggest obstacle of many.

  lets face it this game is full of cheats so would not make on difference just got to look at the scores of players..

  and wgt have ruined what was once a good game

  this game holds no merit to me whatsoever now just another mickey mouse game..

  Something in the software allows them to monitor peoples desktops  and show what programs are running, Trouble is the online casino and poker industry is a multi million pound business, so i doubt WGT would have the resources to do it anyway

  I think it's a massive download because the game works with the entire set of images for one hole at a time, to generate the shot after you input the info and clicks for taking the swing. (Thus if you have a disconnect problem, you can go ahead and swing but no shot is generated and you get an error message.)
