Who ? just  to see if they are any good or not please? I would be interested in that - just for my edification.  Thus far I have never come across any one with a decently consistently score record doing it all not moving the aim marker.  I really don't see how it can usually work reliably on all the courses, well, short of some close who cares tap in stuff (red tee comps would see a lot of that, and a lot of paper plane TLs especially with the red tee advent).  Happy to stand corrected if you show me a real good player on all the courses in real conditions doing it just your way.

Im sure there is 100s more, feel free to search the forums...

Also one of them stated the same as i have felt, that the precision stats makes miss-putting less reliable.

I both ding and off ding...my personal opinion is if you can't putt with the lvl 70 Odyssey  it's not the putter, your doing something wrong...

This is all fact. The L-70 is 2nd fiddle only to the L-96....L-101 ? Can't say. I'm at L-100

This one uses a lvl 94 Nike contrary to your theory...he also averages 12ft from pin, and has a very high sand save and scrambling %, most likely doesn't have very many longer putts

This one sets up easy red tee CCT , mostly plays for fun and has a decent game...doubt they ever have a putt over 8ft lol

The thread is from 2012, I don't believe their were TL's or Champ greens then...3 pages and 2 posts who seem to indicate they "never" move the marker...at least not 3 yrs ago...

Im sure there is 100s more, feel free to search the forums...

and I'm sure there isn't 100's more TL's with good scoring avgs who putt that way without even doing a search, I'm as sure of that as I am you will never reach 50% 1 putts without developing a better system of putting, it just don't work outside of 6-8ft

Also one of them stated the same as i have felt, that the precision stats makes miss-putting less reliable.

Not true, putters with less accuracy can go in any direction, L, R, Short, Long, they are inaccurate even when your trying to be inaccurate....basically, when you sink a putt  you just guessed right, plain and simple....without even looking at your stats if your 1 putt %  is over 30% your doing very well.

the best example you could have used is "sebicu", he is only the career money leader, I'm told he "off dings" every shot, drives, approaches, chips, and putts, but even he moves the aim arrow a little bit....

you shot a 27 1st time out...immediately followed by a few 30's, in a CC tournament with an easy setup, so what happened? You can't judge a putter if green is set up to where you can ram every putt home, BUT you can have a lot of fun! LOL

Yep again.  Having said all that I rented the L70 this last weekend, and thought wow what a great little thing.  Slow meter made shallow scales a breeze, and I just like it:)  Anyway I think I am dancing around a sixpence that discussion probably, and I have two left feet.

you need to re read it.  You got 2+2 and made 7...One may or may not have alluded to what you interpret, but he is not here to ask.  Go watch some vids of top players to see how wrong if like.

Some good players post and yes they describe as misding, but you got that interpretation to a whole new level (wrongly).

Are you also sure the earth is flat.............feel free to search the history books:)

Players here with really quite reasonable putting from real courses telling you, but have it your inflexible way.  Be as stubborn as you want, and yes at Kiawah from the mickey mouse mouse tees with your nuclear bombs at that range you will be a TL.

Personally I would get to TL playing all the courses in real conditions mostly.  Some paper planes out there that struggle to break par at Merion in real conditions, but they are TL.  Now if you ever get to even 50% 1 putts (real real good starts higher) playing real courses great, but I don't see that soon with your notions.  Have the fun though, just letting you know you have your facts ass about face, and more reliable putting notions exist:)

That is a very broad swipe. I have played those "CC reds" for fun for about 6 or 7 months, I also have played here for 6+ years and have hit about 75.000 putts to show for it, and of those, maybe, maybe 3,000 - 4,000 tops are of red tee close shots. The other 70,000 are from all over the place. I became Legend the day it became a tier. I do just play quickly for fun. I no longer play for keeps. But Darling, when I do, allow me to assure you...I do.

LOL, it looks a lot worse in print than intended  LOL

Mostly referring to using you as an example of a TL with a low avg who doesn't move the aim, just putts off ding....you've never hid the fact that when you turned TL a few months ago you played from the red tees and kind did the Jessica thing to have fun with the avg...I have no problem with it....

Si...just like my player photo...all is cool Dan ;-}   I only "push" the L-70 & L-96 because I'm not a great putter. I consequently believe that these putters can help the many others who, like me, are ding-bells while putting
