I generally like the wind and green speed changes for the Open.

However I will say that having heavy winds, moving from right to left at 27 - 32 mph on a par 3 playing downhill by 100 feet makes your shot just a guess.

I'm not sure that Chambers Bay is meant to play in heavy winds.    Also I know the winds are random but I checked with a couple of my friends who seemed to get 'the good winds' on the holes you need them and the bad winds on holes that aren't so bad.    I really think that everyone should have the same winds on every hole.

Hole 1 for me has been unreachable in each round so far.

I reached it in the second round from the shorter tees but made bogey in the first, third, and fourth rounds. Hitting a wedge to that hole location in heavy winds is no joke.

It is I think but holes are often designed keeping prevailing winds in mind. Most good courses have wind balanced out with good wind and bad wind. All single play tourneys should have same wind or at least mapped to the course.

    From a while back.

the biggest issue is the fairway speed. Balls are staying up right of 8, which is totally unrealistic.

The fairways are SLOWER than Merion, which is not even close to reality. WGT erred by not having them as fast as St. Andrews

Finally closed my 4 rounds at the U.S. Open. First time in the best 156 so happy for that.

Impressive find a 1 year old player membership as paired with the same score of the runner up. Congratulations again to all the players which challenging this event and good luck to those have to compete in this last day of tour and hope to do better next year.

    Greetings.
