  Not sure if this is a bug or what? Probably during my best round at my current tier (thus far, still have two to go) I hit hole 7 on Kiawah's flag stick dead on from about 170 yrds on approach, it then rolled back 46 ft. Never seen anything like it in my three years playing here. 
  
  Anyone else ever seen this? I saved the replay, it's the first one on my profile. Just started using the forum and I can't figure out how to post a replay, sorry.

  Thanks for the post. Its not a bug, have seen this happen a couple times and hitting the flag stick can knock your ball back. Had this happen to me once and rolled me back into a bunker because I had a lot of backspin on it.

  You're lucky it only went 46ft. Pull the flag (before the shot) on all approach shots. Still might get the very rare in-the-hole-slam-dunk-and-out-like-a-rocket blooper, but they are really rare.

  Unless you're wanting to win the "hit the flag stick" awards, pull it.

  I've hit the flagstick on STA #1 and had it bounce back into the burn more times than I care to recall.  Just one of them things.  Ask Ricky Fowler :)

  Have had it happen both here and on  the real course more than a few times.   Not once did it work out in my favor either lol.

   

  Just make sure that if you decide to pull the pin that you do it  before taking the shot or then it's just a graphic change  but the pin is still there.
