  As I play all shots or nearly all shots with full backspin I´ve lately noticed that I don´t get backspin on the shots from time to time. Sometimes it happens when I play a tournament round and sometimes it happens when I play matc play or alternate shots. This means that I don´t get the carry, height and length I normaly get with the woods and not getting the stop or the height with the irons. Is this a known problem or am I the only one having this problem?

  The new Callaway Chrome balls are suspects in this case. Some players have reported what you describe for you L43 Callies:

  Some, including me (L33 Callies), don't have these problems.

  You are the first though to my knowledge who is only partly affected.

  Some rumour from the tin foil hat fraction has it that they want to kill these affordable and good balls.

   

  Best way to bypass this is to buy other balls - WGT will be glad to sell some more expensive ones...
