Hello, I don't know whether anyone else has noticed or not, but I've had my fair share of 5 or 6 foot putts, no elevation and straight as an arrow from both the player and the behind view, hitting the ding, and the putt going completely off-line and breaking, even though the dots are still. A straight putt should be a straight putt, and not something that shanks off-line straight away if you hit the ding. Thanks again, WGT!

I agree.....and not just when putting...it's to the point now, where the only time I get a good result from a shot is when I meter !

This game is a complete mess, especially Alternate games, even when wgt allows you to actually finish one.  I recently played 5 games of Alt in two days, won 3, lost 2  and finished none of them...sometimes with folks crashing out on the 1st hole.  Blue screens, jittery screens, frozen players, slow loading forcing re-boots, etc., need I go on ?

WGT should discard the 3 strike rule until they fix the multitude of glitches from their never ending updates.

ps....on an upnote, if you want to spend more money in their pro shop...smooth as silk...lol

The biggest difference in putting I have noticed isn't straight putts breaking. There are a lot of putts that look straight and actually do have break, play Kiawah and Whistler and you will figure that out.

The biggest difference I have noticed is when you purposefully hit a putt off center to take away the break it doesn't affect the ball nearly as much as it used to.

I used to never aim hardly any putts under 4 feet, I would just hit late or early to offset the break. You can't do that anymore, the putts just do not take the line off to the side like they used to. Some will but others just go completely straight as if you dinged it

You bet. Just a little...just a smidge, but the artful smallness of it creates a miss that was once a thoughtless done deal. ~ SP ~  `

One thing that is important to understand is that if the camera is not in a straight line going from the ball to the hole, the dots can not be trusted. The dots then show the break as it would be if your ball would be on the same line as the camera

This is also the reason why front and reverse camera sometimes shows different breaks - they are not aligned the same and it that case you should trust the one that is closest to your line.

Have you not yet noticed that when you spend money with WGT all you need to do is roughly aim the correct way and WGT then takes over and decides how good you can be?... In other words your skill level is not based on anything other than how much you spend, is..you pay to be any good, therefor completely worthless and not worth a single dime or penny ever. All we want is a straight fair game that does exactly as the player sets out to do, not what WGT decide they want their program to do.

I've NEVER had a straight putt on her. Always a break.  Any course anywhere I hit it.

Tightrope, I understand, there's plenty of holes with a dodgy camera angle like that, but I had a straight camera from both the player ánd the behind view, and the putt was dead straight, the grid was "black" and there was absolutely zero movement.

Has anyone also noticed the meter bar if left to go all the way across never reaches the absolute end.  There is now a 1/4" left when the meter stops.  This can't be good.  And I too have suffered 5-6 foot straight putts veering inexplicably.

I find the straight putt issue, all the time. Most putters will often push a 6 footer when the ding is hit. In fact I have tried nearly every putter available in search of one you could trust to NOT push or misdirect a straight putt.

I understand the camera angles and all that, and have played for a long time. I've thought I found the "great putter" that does roll a straight ball...but it isn't long before the same issue reveals itself. On the ding the ball rolls as if early, or late...on STRAIGHT putts.

The issue is real. And it can ruin a good round.
