Hi all, My name is Dad2147 and wanted to introduce myself but also get a bit of help.

I am an old man that loves online golf. I many years ago Played the Arnold Palmer Links LS 98 golfing game and got addicted to it. We used to play on Multi Player and later changed to Game Spy for reasons I have forgotten. Back then I was also on Cases ladder competition and ended up fairly respecful out of the large field of players. Best of all I met a lot of friends on the game that we played almost every night. Just loved the game, lots of laughs and lots of hours enjoyment.  My wife always told me if I died she was going to have me put in my casket face down because when she viewed me that the back of my head would only be the way she could identify me. So theres a little about me so on to the question at hand.

I am a newbie here and entered a tournament to test my skills. I have moved into round 2 but when I go in it doesnt have anywhere to hit the play button. Am I missing something?? I'm playing on an Ipad and can fin where I'm entered but to play round 2 I have no way of clicking into the game.. Only 20 hours leftt to get this figured out and game played so if I could get some tips I appreciate it.

Thanks in advance from Dad2147--- I will never forfiet a game to you no matter how bad I'm shooting for the day!!!!!!

    Hi

I can only presume that the comp you entered was a bracket comp.

The time clock might be still going for people to finish the first round.  When that time finishes then the 2nd round will start and the Play button will come on screen.

I think the clock is still going as well............Only looked quick but think through in one tourney (bracket) and the next round does not start until that times out...Think all good

Hi Dad - I wish you much fun here!

I agree with the former answers - you have been playing in several brackets. Their rounds last 24 hours, so you'd have to wait. (Beware that Speed Brackets have only 30 mins, and CTTH Brackets have 15 mins cycles.) You should also receive mails for each new round.

In between, you may follow the entries in the scoring history of your profile - there, the clock is shown.

Try the weekly and monthly tournaments, too. Most of them are free to enter, some provide unlimited starts. They take you to practice on all courses and you can compare yourself with others in your tier. Furthermore, they are rated higher in the XPs, a good thing for future equipment upgrades.

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it. I got up this morning and checked the bracket on the Congressional 9h and It seems I had played it already. However I hadn't. Got to checking and my very first try at a bracket match was one of the Congressional Brackets an it had logged me at the score I had posted to it. Not sure why but I'm now finished with my third round and if I should win it I am in the finals. Kinda exciting. I hope to play more of these for training purpose so to get into some of the good money games. Got a long way to go but headed that way. Thanks again for the help and hopefully I can help someone else down the road.

Hit um straight and drop um close to the pin!!!! Have a great day.
