I am sure this has been asked time and time again, but is there a way that I can upgrade my equipment without dropping any $ or filling our surveys? This game is great too btw

I suppose you could beg folks to gift you equipment if you want to go that route.
Play more stroke play rated rounds. You'll earn credits for moving up in tiers. You can also earn credits playing in tournaments with credits as prizes. Be patient...it could take a while to earn enough credits but it can be done.

Also if you have not done so check out the free offers that offer any where from a few hundred credits upward to 6000. And if you chose the free trials that will cost money after the trial is over just remember to cancel your account before the trial expires.
