700 completed rounds in the most recent one. Doubtless more entrants as many will not have completed their rounds. Plenty enough interest and ball usage to cover the 9600 credits WGT puts up for the prize pot. So still no rational explanation as to why a viable tournament was removed from the rota.

Perhaps it takes a vast number of man-hours to set up such a tournament, or to scour the leaderboards for multi-accounters before settling. If so, please tell us so that we can understand!! Otherwise you are making WGT look like bungling innumerates who are deliberately trying to annoy some of their most loyal customers.

im afraid all this is falling on deaf ears.

apparently wgt has the numbers but wont share them as theyre not a transparent company.

but they bring out things like gridlock and other useless stuff cos people ask for it?!

whats apparent is they have a testing group far removed from the usual wgt player who asks for stuff nobdy wants, and it gets implemented, while us forum users (basically the one percenters) asks for stuff we want to no avail.

its the complete opposite of what every other game on the internet is doing lol

If even Mags starts being upset, then I feel better! I definitely don't understand the direction this game took. I thought a game meant to be fun. Today, it seems that this word is no longer a priority for WGT and it's regrettable! (is it a word in english Mags?)

Certainly mods read our post but they are told not to send forward complains from unhappy costumers........no matter how many time we spend writing our unhappiness/suggestions to WGT, waste of time me believe.

Uneven lies is at the moment more popular than ever before.

WGT uses the appetite of anybody here setting up rounds of 18 holes unlimited. It makes good on a leaderboard to show a 55 or a 56, which is very makable for good players when you can play the same course in same conditions 10-15 times (3 to 5 sleeves)

Uneven lies challenge you all the time, you don't play automatic shots, it's less "robotic". My opinion is that the game reaches its best in these slopes.

Problem for wgt  you play these rounds just once, even if they set up unlimited rounds, you would give a couple of tries at the most because scoring target changes. At a certain level, when you feel like playing an average round shooting 29 or even 28 (56 - 58 for 18 holes) on flat lies, you get easily more satisfaction shooting 30-31 (60-62 or even 63-64 on tough courses for 18 holes) on uneven lies.

Maybe WGT understands that you can put your ego on play on even lies and you don't on uel, so you'll play as much as necessary to satisfy yourself on unlimited even lies but get away with an "average score" on uneven lies at the 1st attempt. So less balls used, so less business for the website.

All is about consumable and here, it's the balls you use. When WGT talks about popularity, they don't mention a number of players but a number of rounds or attempts. They rather go with a tournament played 100 times by 1 person than a tournament played once by 50 guys.

Somebody will have to tell them that this strategy is great...on a short term (5-10 years) but we all know that in the modern economy, the short term is what counts.

I don't play those unlimited stuffs, waist of balls. Actually I don't care about showing on the leaderboards. I play uel weekly stroke or ready go's to challenge myself against the best players in this game (the honest ones!) like Mags, Konrad, Tess and lot of other big names here. I'm an average player who finds satisfaction in being in play with these guys and finally, have enough resources on uneven lies to play well enough to not use my card too often even  if I had to put $20 yesterday lol

Now, I'm wondering if the range of players I'm part of (with less than 3,000 cdts in his purse) is not the target of this cancellation. For WGT, what's the point to send credits for "free" to players who don't have the amount of credits to play totally for free?

    I wish I could think another way...when I'm talking about a GAME!

Dont see how it would be much different to a CC tournament that us players create basically with a start and an end time.

It basically translates to not as much profit being generated as an Unlimited even lies tournament. Obviously there are quite a lot of players who dont like UEL and believe that these take up spots of tournaments which would otherwise be even lies and want them gone. Guess they're in the majority.

    Hi

unfortunately uneven and single play round don't sell nicely.

If you take a closer look you might come to the conclusion that especially uneven attracts a small but very active and loyal group of players. These player play quite a lot - potentially because WGT kept them interested with more difficult features like uneven?

For my part yes - I like uneven - I like super fast greens - I like it as tough as you can make it as long as you have a fair chance.

If it would be unlimited play, even lies and no wind - I would have stopped playing years ago - (potentially).

    Cheers
