I know that the first game of the day gets me the bonus points for consecutive days played (880 maximum bonus points, I believe). I know that if I use a cc pass to start this game my country club gets those bonus points also, as well as any experience points that are accrued from the hits i make on the ball during my round.

My question is, what happens to the experience points if I start my first round of the day using my cc pass and then the game times out due to a player disconnect BEFORE I hit a single shot? I'm referring to an alt shot game here.

I know that my pass is in the toilet but what happens to those bonus experience points? I have played games where this happened and then the bonus points were applied at the end of my NEXT game. However I have also had this happen where there are no bonus points awarded at the end of my next game. Does anyone know how this actually works?

I've been told that the only way to insure getting these bonus experience points is not to play a multi-player game as the first game of the day. That way the chance of the game being terminated due to a player disconnecting is eliminated. I personally consider this an unsatisfactory way to resolve the problem.

I, myself could care less about accumulating experience points except as a way to move up levels and qualify for better equipment. However wgt has tied these points to country club levels and made a competition out of the weekly contribution of club members so there is some incentive to get max points each day to help out your club in this way.

I apologize if this question has been answered before, but I did search the forums and could not find an answer. Thanks in advance for your response.

You didn't finish that first game => the CDP will not be touched. AFAIK, you'll receive the bonus with the next game that you finish. I've not seen any different outcome, unless you miss the GMT day limit in between, which isn't unlikely in the afternoon (US time). Watch the tag and the time counter on the game's main window.

This points to another andvantage of a solo game for the bonus: It's over quickly, two minutes for a single hole!

Which incentive? To be in a weekly "competition" with no rewards, and where nobody can see the outcome? I beg to differ, this ain't an incentive, it's but a trap, as worthwhile as a cockroach race.

No shot no XPs to you and any disco anywhere pass is zapped.  Single play is the only safe way.

There is no competition for that 1 in my CC trust me.

All I ask is members "usually" remember to log the basic CDP.   That's a note to self as much as anything as I can start a game, get called away and overrun or auto muscle memory click no thanks at the wrong time.

Beyond me why anyone even call that a competition, but an 18 holes RR scoring 180 would be the safest max points.  Do that twice a day you would probably "win" if you keep it quiet how you are doing it:)

That's what I thought too. However today this happened to me and I got no bonus points after finishing the next game.

    No argument from me, sir.
