  Would be appreciated. 

  I had an average of 61.3 (TM) and shot a three oh on the front nine at saint Andy's and my average went up to 61.44. I didn't advance tiers. 

  Anyone have a clue how that happens?

  Really: No explication.

  Except, you might have mixed it up with the outcome of the 33 before, since your average might not be saturated yet.

  Evidently you havent reached saturation yet . Every time that you tier up your avg. resets and you will have to play a certain number of required rounds before you reach saturation ..  Your avg. will rise and fall based on your scoring but dont worry about that . 

  Your avg. is not important it is only a reflection and record of your playing . It will forever be changing for as long as you play the game  . So just play and have fun . There  are 3 more tiers for you to play and advance to and lots of levels as well . So play have fun and enjoy the game . Also remember that the players who worry about their averages never become great players . Good luck with your game . :-)

  That's an interesting statement, I have never worried about my average in over 4 years, but I am still not a great player.

  What should I do.

  John, I'm afraid that you are using an unpermissible inversion:

  Worrys = not great player can't be inverted to No worries = great player.

  Same goes with the monies here: 1 $ = 100 cr is true, 100 cr = 1 $ is not.

  Practice , practice and then more practice John . You have the clubs so practice .As for the statement is simple too much hype is on the average and not player ability .The avg. has nothing to do with your ability to play the game . Too many sand baggers and multi`s have proven that to be true .Averages go up and then down so its definitely not something to worry about . :-)

  ....I have to disagree that a person's average has nothing to do with playing ability. I would agree that it is only one many indicators. I should also mention that I am a 69 avg legend and was once accused of sand bagging....I have never done that and didn't even know the term could apply to legends...lol.  I did happen to play way above my pay grade that particular game, but we have all had those types of games.

  I think a better indicator of sand-bagging is a lower tier wanting to play for credits and usually winning against much higher tier players. The closer tee advantage may explain it somewhat, but the simple fact that he or she wants to play for money or credits indicates there is something amiss (IMHO). 

  As an aside, I am often told that I'm a better player than my average, but  I only play alternate or match...solely for the social experience. As most know, these types of games have no impact on average, however, it is inevitable that I would improve given the amount of games I play (over 6200 Alt games and counting)
