The precision and range of these irons are excellent, plus this is an iron you can continue to grow with. If the meter bothers you then utilize the G13 D or S ball. That would be my suggestion.
On another note, get rid of the hybrid and start going with the ZSatin Wedges.

    Hi Sgt

Interesting, Does the diff. type of balls you buy make an affect on the meter speed. I know that the game balls (plain white we all start using) my meter goes into warp speed...lol. Good to know actually, I thought it was only the normal game balls that quicken up the meter.

When looking at balls the GI's are Game improvement balls.  With this said the feel aspect of a ball spec. is related to how much it will slow down the meter.

Ditto what bogey said, the more "feel" dots on the ball the more it affects(slows) the meter. I prefer the G13Ds but early on I used the S for the spin.

The GI-SD golf ball is superior for any iron set, at any level, in any tier. IMO.   : )

Ditto and if you don't want to fork out 115 credits use the tour sd... basically the same ball without feel for a fraction of the cost.

I would easily argue that one, while it is a great ball the advantages over the meter control negate each other. Until the addition of legend series balls a lot of the top players used the 13 series because of the added control to the meter. I guess it all comes down to preference and what you like in a meter speed.
