The 18th at Merion is a masterful, historic hole in the world of golf and a treasure to be able to play here. I love that Mr. Hogan's famous tee shot and 1 iron location is memorialized there. I have played that hole from every tee box and yet can never find that plaque anywhere in the fairway. Was it removed from the WGT photos ?  ~SP~

And if you landed on it you could get a wicked bounce.

Nope, it's there.  But it took me a while to find it.  205yds out from front right pin.

I knew it ! I 'friggen' knew it. When I finished typing the question, ZAP  ZING ZOWIE !! The power of soul-mate, mental notions that travel from brain A to brain B. I knew, Andy, that you would take this on...I knew it !

Question 2 is how many ? You know, you hit your drive then started hittin' plaque-hunt shots around the fairway and found it. So the question is how many, and as a follow-up did you hunt by flopping or putting ?
