Hi there
I played St. Andrews and my opponent put a drive right next to the water left edge on hole #1. The default setting for that shot had my opponent standing on the air over the water right at fairway level. He joked he was jesus. That shot would have been impossible in real golf, where he would be forced to sacrifice one shot before approaching the pin. He played solid golf and this represented no advantage. This is not a complaint... However, it would add to the thrill to have the actual challenge that in real golf you would face from that or any other location over the entire tour. Sometimes a free drop can result in a still difficult shot for the player and push him into a challenging situation that real golfers actually solve.
