Just an obsevation, but half of the ready go tournaments are uneven lie ones ( 13) and in the last 3 days only 5 have finished. Am i missing something here?

    Hi Tom,

Thanks for pitching in with the reply. One can almost set one's clock by when this kind of post is going to surface in the forums... I guess it's just a pleasant surprise that it's not from Peter (Agassi) this time :)

It's very kind of you to make that comment! I put forward UEL RG suggestions to WGT for about a year and a half, but actually since this August I've passed the job along to the extremely capable JoeMaverick (who seems to win most of them anyway, lol!). He's doing a great job, and is much better than I ever was at keeping track of when they might expire and sending WGT a new list in early to keep thing rolling.

As we keep mentioning to the nay-sayers, this arose out of a community initiative. We said there was interest, and we do the work to make it as easy as possible for WGT to implement (supplying the names, and full conditions, for each UEL RG) and take responsibility for maintaining variety from batch to batch.

If those who have complaints about flat-lie RGs just sat down and created a system for making your own regular and varied suggestions that would meet the needs of all of the flat-lie constituency, I bet WGT would really welcome it!

    Thanks Corwyn for your post.

The last UEL batch has started on Friday 10/9 so I expected to see them disappear on Friday 10/25. Shoe said to me that the new batch was built for Saturday 26/10 and it was the case, and he also said that the could be a little overlap. That's the explanation.

I know it's the second time that happens but I can't predict that the batch will be available more than 2 weeks, as it should be. So 2-3 before the theorical end, I send a new list to Shoe. But I don't complain, I prefer by far this situation that having no UEL RG for 2-3 days.

Now, I think the flat-lie players should keep their energy to complain about things they don't have, instead of things that the other have. As it was said a lot of time, the UEL RG's don't replace EL RG's.

    Joe

Great job Joe on keeping the UEL RG's going. Your UEL RG's have been a good varied selection.

I was not critisizing the job the good people of WGT do organising those tournaments. I was just asking why there are so many, if relatively few people play them

And I got an answer, so thanks for that

Since we are less players to play them we need to wait for more time and so it's not a bad thing if we can have a period with a lot of them :)
