How about WGT offers up a "Golf Pro" that can help with various parts of a players game. The Golf Pro would be more in-depth than the video free lessons and in return for you to take advantage of the Golf Pro's time you need to use X amount of credits, the cost of the lesson would depend on what all the player wanted to cover.

So say I wanted more help with my pitch work I would need to spend 25 credits to have the pro cover the best ways to approach a hole, using the spin techniques to stop the ball, etc....

Obviously at 25 cents you're not getting Hank Haney.  More like the local driving range pro.

What you are suggesting, would require a live human being, to answer specific questions about specific shots, lies, and conditions. I wouldn't work for 25 cents an hour, how about you?

Oh no...I was just suggesting that WGT peals back an extra layer of the turtuorial for folks and give them tips and tricks depending on the level you are currently at...

An example is I am at ll 24 and i still have no clue what it mean when the lines on the swing meter move closer to the shot line when you hold down the mouse key while setting up your shot and the answer for something like that or a quick how to video shot would be 25 creds....I just threw out the 25 credits as an example but obviously the more complex the situation the more the cost..

I am sure WGT can do this without requiring a real life person to sit there and hand hold a person and really there are some things that just can't be covered by the pro but have to be experienced....

Again I was thinking in terms of the beginner to intermediate player that wants/needs a little more help than what the lesson videos offer....

You're spot on.  WGT could easily use this as another revenue source.  All they would have to do is create more video lessons tailored to a specific catagory (available in a pull down menu).  The player wanting to advance would pay 25 credits (seems like a reasonable fee just for watching a video lesson) and receive tips not available on the free lesson videos.  Good idea!

    Wake up Guys!

    Practice costs nothing?

WGT would charge at least 500 credits an hour to implement this.

Listen to all the forum trolls here, wgt is a business not a charitable foundation.

Not a bad idea M. I think most of us spend too much money already playing the game. Theres alot of stuff in the 'game tips' section which has helped me alot. The Putting distance control post is great for a start. The more you play the game the easier it will get. When I first started I used to wright everything down..which clubs I used, what wind conditions etc for each hole, that type of thing. Might take awhile but ya get used to it the more times you play. Evan playing with others and see how they play the game is good.. eg, you might see somebody use the flop option and then you would think...ahhh, I would hav used something else there.

So Keep playing, you will get better the more times you play the game

    Cheers
