So I am going to start with why I have this program.

I run a Dell inspiron 1525 (stopped laughing yet). I kept getting this error on startup that said my dell Wlan applet crashed.

So I did some research and found that this is a redundant program that finds WIFI connections but your computer defaults to the windows controller that works better. It also has a massive memory leak in it.    Nice.

So I tried to disable the applet through the task manager and could not. I just could not shut this piece of crap off....lol.

A friend of mine told me to check out Winpatrol. It's a very small but very powerful program that will tell you everything that is running on your computer, what starts up that is hidden and what starts up in the background that you don't know about.

Try it out and see what you think. I use Filehippo. Great site for browsers antivirus etc.

Here is the direct link to winpatrol on there.

    Happy hitting
